Little Irchester - Mr. Phillips, shoe manufacturer, Wollaston, has converted some old railway carriages into homes at Little Irchester, and they are now in use.

Presentations were made at a farewell party on Monday to Miss H M Lack, headmistress of Little Irchester Infants’ School, who has now moved to Irchester. Thelma Kilsby is handing her a bouquet on behalf of scholars past and present, after Mrs G E James (left), chairman of the school Managers, presented the clock from parents and friends.
