The Funeral of the late Mr George Wilkins, aged 25, assistant scoutmaster of the Irchester troop, and a member of the Irchester Division of the Ambulance Brigade, took place on Monday. A service was conducted in the Wesleyan Church by the Rev J Dickenson, of Wellingborough.
The Boy Scouts under Scoutmaster C Payne and Dr Gabb (president), and the ambulance members under Supt. G Parsons escorted the body to the grave, and a party of buglers from the Herefords played “The last post.”
Deceased leaves a widow and one child.
