I hope to attend school the whole of the week coming a little late in the morning and afternoon.

Miss Tall is away today on account of a reading competition in connection with the County High School, Wellingborough.


The average attendance for the week is 183.3 and the percentage 96.4 out of 190 on the roll. School closed today for the Midsummer Holidays reopening on September 1^{st}. The children were dismissed at 4pm.
At 3 o’clock Mr. Vorley came to speak to the girls because this is the last occasion on which they will meet as a Girls’ School. After the holiday they will return to Alfred Street with the boys to form a mixed department at which time my duties here terminate.
