ON HOLIDAY FROM AUSTRALIA
Mrs. A. Peters, of Melbourne, is on her way to this country for the first time since she left Rushden for Australia as a schoolgirl 37 years ago. She is accompanied on the "Orion" by her 17-year-old daughter and will spend most of her six months' holiday with relatives in Rushden including two uncles, Mr. Frank Bryant, of Irchester Road, and Mr. Charles Bryant, of Cromwell Road. She is due to arrive on March 5th.
Mrs. Peters emigrated with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bryant. Her mother died about two years ago, and her father is still alive. Because she has a confectionery business in Melbourne, her husband has been unable to make the trip with her.
