George Miller
George Miller—HighStreet, Rushden; son of the late George Miller, of Bedford, and grandson of the late William Tregenza, for many years Governor of H.M. Prison at Bedford; born at Bedford, Oetober 20th, 1864; educated at the Bedford School. Ironmonger and hardware merchant; member for the Northern Division of Rushden, Northamptonshire County Council; member of the Rushden Urban District Council; Manager and Hon. Treasurer to the Rushden Church of England Schools; Chairman of the Rushden Conservative Association for several years; served on the Executive of the East Northants Central Conservative Association; President of the Rushden Athletic Club; member of Wentworth Lodge, No. 737, and Pemberton Lodge, No. 3239, of Freemasons; sidesman at Rushden Parish Church. Married, in 1887, Fredonia Frances Mary, fourth daughter of Philip Augustus Scrivener, of Cambridge, and has issue two sons and two daughters.

For FranceMiss Miller, daughter of Ald. G. Miller, J.P., is spending six days’ leave at home prior to undertaking nursing duties in France. Miss Miller, for upwards of two years past, has been engaged in similar duties at a military hospital in London.
