Surrender were this day sold
& surrendered by W. Moore to
Baker Denton of Rushden
by the Hand of Wm. Pressland
and Rd. Stevens, two Copyholders

Manor of Rushden

Be it remembered that on the twentyfifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine

Thomas Randall of Rushden aforesaid Labourer one of the Customary Tenants of this Manor Did out of Court by the Rod surrender into the Hands of our most Gracious Sovereign Lord King George the third Lord of the said Manor by the Hands and Acceptance of Thomas Fletcher and William Saby two other Customary Tenants of the said Manor All that his messuage or Dwelling House Barn and Yard containing in length twenty five yards and in breadth ten yards situate standing and being on the North side of the Church of Rushden aforesaid the Estate of Peter Cooper adjoining on the North East and East sides thereof the House in the Tenure of John Fisher or his Undertenants on the South and the Turnpike Road West and which said Messuage or Tenement was late in the Tenure or Occupation of William French and is now in the Tenure of Robert Harris And was purchased by the said Thomas Randall of and from Peter Cooper of Rushden aforesaid Mason Together with all and singular the Rights Members and Appurtenances to the same or any part thereof belonging And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest Benefit Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Thomas Randall out of in or to the same Premises and every or any part thereof Together with full Liberty of Ingress Egress and Regress into over and through the Close or Orchard of the said Peter Cooper with Horses Carts and Carriages to the House Yard and Premises aforesaid To the only proper Use and Behoof of William Moore of Rushden aforesaid Fishmonger his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the said Manor
