CHELVESTON Baptist Church held a youth social evening on Saturday, when the star turn was put over by Mr Colton, the youth leader, who sang to the accompaniment of his own guitar.

This was followed by testimonials of faith by members of Russell Park Baptist Church, Bedford, who spoke of their experiences which led up to their faith.

On Sunday the Christmas season was remembered with a carol service, in which readings were given by members. The service was conducted by Pastor R. S. Munday, and the soloist was Miss Rosemary Munt.

The offering of £10 was donated to the Hinwick Home for physically handicapped boys.
