Stray Bullet

Child Wounded

Pearl Toone, a small Newton Bromshold girl, was in a hayfield on Monday evening when a ricochetting bullet wounded her in the thigh. The bullet was apparently a "stray".

The child was taken to Northampton General Hospital and a satisfactory report about her condition came through on Tuesday.
