Wellingborough Rural Area Report
If war comes, and it is necessary to evacuate city people to the country, Wellingborough rural area will be able to accommodate 5,940 persons.

The accuracy of the estimation made by Rural Council officials in the crisis last September is shown by the fact that there is only a short margin between the estimated figure (5,980) and the official return.
In the area there are 16,806 rooms.
