Unemployment in Rushden & Higham
Comparison with a Year Ago Striking Decrease in Both Sections
We are able to publish the following figures relating to unemployment (both wholly unemployed and temporarily suspended) in Rushden and Higham Ferrers, for the week ending January 5th, this year, and also to give a comparison with the totals for the same week of last year.

In all cases but one the figures show a decrease compared with a year ago, and the totals are considerably below those of 1931, a fact which is extremely gratifying.
