In 1810 William Miller took the licence. His son William followed him, and then his grandson William continued as landlord until 1933.
Granddaughter Ellen Wells Miller, born 1873, married a licensee's son, William Wood, in 1889, of the Waggon and Horses Inn at Rushden.
