Northants County Scholarships
Successes in the Rushden District

The following scholarships have, among others, been awarded in connection with the Northants Education Committee.

Junior scholarships for three years, to enable boys and girls to proceed to Secondary Schools:
Hilda Smith Irchester Council School
Class A first extension scholarships for one year, to enable holders of expiring A scholarships to continue at approved Secondary Schools:
Marjorie Coggins The Limes, Stanwick Wellingborough High School
Evelyn L Favell 52 Scarborough-street, Irthlingborough Wellingborough High School
Sidney Hawkes 84 Portland-road, Rushden Wellingborough Grammar School
Muriel W Huke 22 Griffith-street, Rushden Wellingborough High School
Nellie Stubbs 12 Beech Hill, Raunds Wellingborough High School

IntermediateScholarships for two years to enable holders of expiring extended A scholarships (awarded in 1917) to continue at approved Secondary Schools:

William B Gutteridge 86 Newton-road, Rushden Wellingborough Grammar School
Scholarships for two years to enable candidates, not at present holding County Scholarships, to continue at approved Secondary Schools:
Joan F Wright Lymington House, Higham Ferrers Wellingborough High School
Intermediate extensionScholarship for one year to enable holder of expiring Intermediate Scholarship (awarded in 1920) to continue at approved Secondary School:
Ralph Burton Sackville-street, Raunds Wellingborough Grammar School
SeniorScholarships of £10 a year, tenable for two years (but renewable for a third) at a University or other approved place of Higher Education:
