This 1820 Sale Poster doesn’t tell us whose effects were to be sold. The Auctioneer was Mr Pierson, of Kimbolton from whom catalogues could be had, or from the Green Dragon at Higham Ferrers, Hind at Wellingborough, Swan at Rushden, Swan at Bedford, White Hart at Thrapston.
The Live Stock: 4 young stout Cart Horses and Mares, 3 Cows in profit, short horned yearling Bull, 1 Yelt, Suffolk Sow and 9 Pigs.
The Dead Stock: includes 2 Waggons, 1 narrow and 2 broad wheeled Carts, Field Roll, Seeding, Stirring & Fallow Ploughs, 4 pair of Harrows, Sheep Cribs, Corn Skreen, Harness for six Horses, and various agricultural Implements.
In the House: Bedsteads and bedding, Carpets, Fire Irons, Chairs, Pier and other Glasses, 8 day Clock, handsome Billiard Table, complete Side Saddle, Guns and Sundry Books, with a variety of Miscellaneous Articles.
