This list, thought to have been compiled in the 1590s, is in a collection of manuscripts from the Montague of Boughton collection. Written on the back is “Book of the names of the Inhabitants in all the Hundreds & Towns in Northamptonshire”, but no date can be found within. The number refers to the position in the listing for the parish and the letters following are thought to be items provided e.g. arms, horse.
