We have transcribed the registers that are deposited at the Northamptonshire Record Office for St Mary's Parish Church and have recently been allowed access to some of the registers still held at some non-conformist churches and have started to transcribe and index them. Earlier records are transcribed in register order with full details. The indexes are coded C for Christenings or Baptisms, M for Marriages, B for burials and banns (where no marriage followed) recording the last date of reading the banns. A few burials are recorded at the Old Baptist Church (see Churches section) and some records of membership can be seen in the Old Church Book.
